Bentley Strings
Bentley Strings is a leading and highly respected professional ensemble.
The group comprises a select handful of talented musicians brought together by a shared love of string music, and virtuosic flair across a wide range of genres.
Every member of the ensemble has an impressive musical
resume. We hold proud associations with Queensland's premier music organisations
and orchestras.
The Bentley Strings repertoire spans Classical, Jazz,
Cabaret, Latin American, Musical & Film themes, Traditional/Folk
tunes and pop songs. Specific song requests are welcome. Such diversity
fashions tailored performances specific to clients' requirements.
Themed events are a speciality: Costuming and thematic musical programmes showcase our versatility and expertise as entertainers.
We have performed at hundreds of weddings and functions, and take pride in our experience.
Bentley Strings are Brisbane-based, but will travel. They perform regularly at the Gold and Sunshine Coasts.
Danielle personally handles all enquiries and bookings. She will assist with all aspects of your musical requirements with efficiency and care.

Ensembles Available
Please Note: When choosing between the trio and quartet, if your budget
allows, we recommend the quartet. This is why: most of the repertoire
requested at weddings and functions was originally written for quartet.
Whilst the trio can play the same repertoire beautifully, the quartet
will have much a richer tone and fuller harmonies, and the music will
sound as the composer/song writer intended it to sound.
Quartets:
- 2 violins, viola and cello (the traditional string quartet arrangement)
- Flute, violin, viola and cello
- Cello quartet (needs to be booked at least 4 weeks in advance).
Trios:
- 2 violins and cello
- Violin, viola and cello
- Flute, violin/viola and cello
- Flute/violin, cello and harp
Duos:
We have an enormous collection of music spanning classical, romantic, jazz and popular genres, written especially for the duo combinations below.

Costume/Dress Code
Bentley String musicians will meet the following dress code requirements
as specified by the client:
Black tie
Suit and tie
Smart black
Black and white
More specific uniform (for example fancy dress or period
costume, or matching white suits) may necessitate costume or suit hire.
If you have particular dress requirements, please discuss this with
Danielle so that if a hire service is necessary, extra outlays can be
calculated upfront.
